Smart of you to ask….

How often do sessions take place?

As often as every day or as seldom as a few times a week. You will get a schedule that best suits your child’s needs, keeping in mind that consistency is key to progress.

How do I know if I’m covered?

If you do not know whether or not your insurance covers ABA, give us a call. Our insurance specialists can tell you in a flash!

Do I need to be home during sessions?

Yes! At least one adult other than the Little Stripes provider must be home during sessions.

What if I need to cancel a session?

If your child is sick, you have an emergency, or you need to cancel for any reason, you can cancel the session by communicating directly with your BT and/or BCBA. You will not be billed for canceled sessions.

Do you also offer Speech therapy?

We do not offer speech therapy at Little Stripes ABA. We do, however, partner with a center-based program, Flywheel Centers, that offers speech therapy at their center. Learn more here.

Will ABA work for my non-verbal child?

ABSOLUTELY! We cannot promise that your child will begin to speak, but they may! If you want your non-verbal child to learn to communicate better, start ABA today.

How will you understand my child if even I don’t?

We watch for specific patterns to learn more about what is behind your child’s behavior. By analyzing your child’s tendencies, we will understand how to get through to him/her, and we will teach you how to do so, too. This is the science of ABA at its best.

What if my child doesn’t yet have an autism diagnosis?

Your child will need an ASD diagnosis to enroll in our program because we only work with children on the autism spectrum. If you suspect ASD in your child, reach out to us. We know many doctors who assess autism within the communities we serve and can help you locate one near you.

What if I do not have a quiet room for sessions?

It is important that you have a private space for successful therapy to take place. Figure out where sessions can happen uninterrupted, or opt for in-school in-center therapy.
